What trauma care involves
Trauma shows up in more ways than memories. It can be broken sleep and nightmares, being easily startled, a short fuse, going numb, or steering around anything that brings it back. Olga works first to understand how it is affecting you now, then pairs evidence-based medication options, when they fit, with practical coping strategies you can use on a hard day. You set the pace, and you never have to recount details you are not ready to share.
Who it helps
Children, teens, adults, and older adults carrying the weight of something that happened, whether it was recent or years ago. Some people come in after a single event, others after a long stretch of hard ones. If reaching out feels like a big step, this piece on talking to your family about starting mental health care may help.
Your first telehealth visit
You complete a short intake through the secure patient portal first. Then you join a video visit from wherever you feel safest in Missouri, no waiting room required. Olga will ask what you are comfortable sharing about what happened, how it shows up now, how you are sleeping, and what has helped before. The visit is unhurried, in English or Russian, and you leave with a plan and a time to check back in. When more specialized trauma therapy is the right fit, that is discussed openly.
